RESERVATIONS:
- Once a reservation is made, 1/3 -1/2 of the rental amount is due within two weeks to hold your reservation.
- Final payment should arrive no later than 3 weeks before your vacation to allow for keys to mailed to you. Keys and check-in package will mailed upon receipt of final payment + security deposit. You should either mail back keys or leave in unit, as instructed.
- New renters are charged a $200 security deposit that is returned if no damages or extra cleaning charges are assessed. The deposit may be waived for repeat customers with no prior charges.
- If you must cancel a reservation, we will attempt to rerent the unit. If successful, your deposit will be returned; if not, it will be forfeited. If you must reschedule, we will attempt to find another date, if possible.
- Checkout time is 10 AM on the morning of departure and check-in time is after 4 PM on the afternoon of arrival to allow proper cleaning and maintenance of the unit.
WHAT IS SUPPLIED AND WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING:
- Each house is equipped with a full kitchen with everything needed to prepare and serve meals (except the food).
- Linens are not supplied unless you specifically request them (at extra charge). Each bed will have pillows, mattress cover, bedspread, and comforter. You should plan to bring your own sheets, pillowcases, and towels.
- You need to bring your food, paper goods, and other supplies. We attempt to have some toilet paper and cleaning supplies in the unit at all times, but cannot guarantee supplies.
- Telephones are in each unit and provide unlimited local calls. However, there is a blocking service to prevent long distance calls. Please be prepared to use credit/calling cards or call collect when making toll calls.
TO PROTECT YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT:
- You are responsible for maintaining the unit in good condition. Any damages or maintenance problems you discover upon arrival should be reported immediately. Any problems encountered during your stay should be reported so that they can be attended to.
- Maximum occupancy for each unit should be strictly observed.
- At checkout:
- Please place all trash in outside receptacles out by the road. Do not leave loose bags outside. (Trash pickup is only on Mondays).
- Remove items you brought from refrigerator and cabinets and wipe down.
- Wash and put away dishes.
- Leave all furniture as you found it upon arrival.
- Set thermostats back to 45 degrees in cold weather.
- Leave hot ashes in woodstove and close all woodstove doors and vents.
- Turn water and hot water breakers off at main panel. (Off-season rentals).
- Close and lock all windows and exterior doors.
Note: Upon your arrival (off season rentals), you may have to turn on water and hot water heater at main breaker box. Please turn off when leaving.
